ISWS IABCA Rarities Champion Talisman Maia Mudita Kumbaya Field Champion, Straight Racing pointed
"Dita"- Mudita is the Buddhist word from Sanskrit origin for Joy (at others success) and Dita has certainly has brought us a lot of joy!
Joyce Chin called two years after meeting Kent in Golden Gate Park when walking her dogs, and said "Your puppy was born". What a magical beginning for Kumbaya Silken Windhounds!
Dita's Accomplishments: ISWS Champion, Multi Best in Specialty winner, Best Opposite Sex Specialty winner, Multi Best of Breed winner, Multi Best Puppy in Show, Lure Coursing Champion, Straight Racing pointed, dam and granddam of multiple champion and performance titled offspring.
Dita is pictured here at Silkenfest 2010 in Austin, TX where she won Best in Specialty at 5 years of age. She loves to show and stacks herself in her natural pose. She is quite a beauty and we are very proud of her.
Dita is from an incredible litter of 7 females and 1 male. The litter theme was Celestial and each female was named after one of the stars of the Pleiades constellation. Her sisters include Tara (Tarazed owned by Ann & Rick Steele in El Dorado, CA), Ella (Electra owned by Sala Klemeti in Finland), Lucy (Cygni who whelped a litter in New Zealand and now owned by Vic and Ciara near Sacramento, CA), Bella (Bellatrix owned by Sandra Moore in Tennessee), Andy (Andromeda owned by Judy Lowther near Cleveland, OH), Cassiopea (living in San Francisco), and brother Seamus (Orion, living in Oregon).

Dita at Silkenfest
Dita makes every step look effortless. She seems to float when she moves. The handler becomes invisible and all eyes are on this magnificient dog. What a pleasure it is to show a dog that wants to be noticed and responds so well to training. We are very proud of Dita and all her accomplishments.
